Back in 2017, Apple launched the true wireless earbuds called AirPods. It also teased the variant with wireless charging case which was then expected to be launched alongside the AirPower wireless charging pad. Finally, the company today launched the second-gen AirPods with the wireless charging case. It is priced at USD 199 and will be available online starting today. The company is also selling just the wireless charging case for the existing AirPods users for USD 79.
The second-gen AirPods with the standard charging case can be purchased for USD 159. These new AirPods sport the new Apple H1 chip which offers better battery life and faster connection times. It also brings the hands-free “Hey Siri” support for using Apple’s virtual assistant.
